Index
GUAM DECA is the State Organization for all of the school chapters. It is the vehicle through which events such as the Fall DECA Luau, the Guam DECA Competitive Events, the Annual Awards Banquet, the Spring DECA Luau, and various fundraising and community service events are conducted. Business is conducted through regular meetings of the Guam Council, comprised of the top four officers from each chapter. Following is a sample of some of the events carried out through Guam DECA or by one or more of the chapters.
August
Store preparation, health certificate workshop, fundraising, collection of DECA dues.

The Fall DECA Luau, (aka Unity Picnic) Guam Council meetings, fundraising, and community service such as collection of items for Sanctuary.

October
Fundraising--Halloween Grams, Guam Council meetings, community service such as Special Olympics.
November
Fundraising through sale of IFS, Argus items, the DECA Western Region Leadership Conference.

December
Community Service through Sugar Plum Tree and Dress-a-Living-Doll, windup of fundraising for the calendar year, the Guam DECA Leadership Conference, and chapter Christmas parties.
January
After school workshops to prepare for competitions, fundraising for Guam DECA through a raffle, sales, or other events.
February
Chapter competitions, after school workshops and Saturday workshops to prepare for competitions, planning for DECA Awards Banquet.
March
After school workshops and Saturday workshops to prepare for competitions, Guam DECA Competitive Events, Guam DECA Awards Banquet.
April
National DECA Career Development Conference, fundraising such as the Guam DECA Raffle.
